Thanks to your feedback, the Central Travel Office and T&E Team are able to continue improving your travel experience.
Direct Bill Southwest "Wanna Get Away" fares now available
Now business travelers will be able to direct bill Southwest "Wanna Get Away" fares by booking through BCD Travel in Connexxus, instead of booking through SWABIZ (which doesn't accept direct bill), having to pay out of pocket, and getting reimbursed. When you book Southwest "Wanna Get Away" fares with BCD Travel, you will be automatically enrolled in the UC Travel Insurance program. Attend the Southwest Booking Options webinar on Thursday, February 2, from 11:30am - 12:00pm, hosted by UC Central Travel to learn more.
Global Entry Sign-up event April 10 - April 14
Due to popular request, the T&E Team is hosting an on-campus Global Entry sign-up event in April 2017. This is a service similar to TSA PreCheck. Offered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Global Entry provides the TSA PreCheck benefits as well as expedited processing through customs when arriving at U.S. airports from foreign countries. Visit the comparison chart on the DHS website to review how the programs compare. We'll keep you posted on how and when to sign up for the on-campus event. If you are interested in getting updates, subscribe to the T&E updates list.
Global Entry event: Monday, April 10 - Friday, April 14, 2017
Sign-ups open: February 27, 2017
