Passport Services on Campus
The Customer Service Center at the Recreational Sports Facility on campus is an authorized U.S. Government Passport Acceptance Facility and accepts the DS-11 application for the US Department of State. They offer products and services for both first-time and renewal passport applications. Passport services are available to everyone – you do not need to be affiliated with UC Berkeley to take advantage of these services.
Hours of Operation
The Customer Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on an appointment-only basis, no walk-ins.
Administrative Holidays
Please note, passport services will be unavailable during all UC Berkeley administrative holidays.
VISA and Passport Services
University of California has an agreement with Peninsula Visa to facilitate obtaining a visa or US passport. Peninsula Visa has a live chat functionality that can walk you through the necessary information to obtain a visa or US passport. When placing an order online, you must use your UC email address to qualify for UC’s contracted pricing. Please allow up to four weeks to apply and receive your travel document(s) under normal timelines. Expedited services can be obtained at an additional cost.
