UC and Airbnb - new partnership with Airbnb for Work
The UCOP Central Travel Management Services recently launched a new partnership with Airbnb for Work as a preferred accommodation provider for business travel. Look for the Airbnb punch-out in the Connexxus portal (under Book Online). Once a user links their UC email address to their Airbnb account, business bookings will automatically include UC travel insurance and flexible or moderate cancellation policies. Detailed information can be found in the Connexxus portal in the Why Connexxus - Lodging section.
Airline Benefits - United and Delta corporate advantages
UC travelers who book air travel on United or Delta through one of UC's preferred travel agencies will automatically realize a number of newly added benefits offered by these airlines exclusively to their top tier clients. Benefits vary by airline, but include preferred standby, preferred seating, and preferred re-accommodation. Learn more by reviewing the Connexxus portal in the Why Connexxus - Air section.
Entertainment Direct Entry - coming spring 2019
The Controller's Office will soon be releasing an enhancement to the Travel and Entertainment Reimbursement system that will enable event coordinators to request reimbursement without going through a transaction preparer. If you pay out of pocket for entertainment expenses, you can benefit from faster reimbursement turn-around by entering the expense report directly into the system. More information will be made available in the coming months through the Divisional Finance Leaders (DFLs).
